My post as publications specialist and editor of the university’s alumni magazine included chronicling the institution’s influential graduates and campus life. I led the magazine’s name change and redesign to continue to reach its nearly 32,000 alumni and friends via new media, bringing the print magazine online and garnering the digital edition’s first-ever international Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) award in 2016-17. I won in the Southeast region for “Magazine or Publication Rendering for Tablet of Mobile Technology.” I followed that win with two more CASE awards during 2017-18 in both the “Best Articles of the Year” and “Publications Writing” categories. Good years, indeed.
