Tie-Dye Tight

I’ve been tie-dying my Southern threads since high school — T-shirts, shorts, scarves, hats — you name it. Making a mess on grandma’s porch was rather refreshing, and easy to do.

Today’s tip: Streak your worn-out garbs with random hues to reinvent them.

Craft stores and sections like Hobby Lobby and Walmart  sell colorful d0-it-yourself tie-dye kits. Since things may get icky-sticky, make sure you trial and error in the nearest hayfield.

Oh! For my creative work-shy cowgirls, check out forever21.com’s selection of tie-dye crop tops like the one I’m sporting for more lavish alternatives.
