The Columbus Museum

One of the largest museums in the Southeast, The Columbus Museum houses both American and regional history through temporary exhibitions to permanent collections. The 1912-built Mediterranean Revival house opened to the public during 1953 and has for decades shared fine art and American Indian artifacts with guests from around the globe. The now 89,000-square-foot building features an interactive kid’s gallery, a special occasion-worthy atrium and 300-seat auditorium. My bellhop uniform suited the cultural center’s vibes quite brilliantly if I must say so myself, too.
