Buster was the childhood horse showing Cowgirl Candace (and anyone who rode him) daily doses of tough love. The leopard appaloosa was as stubborn as all get out, but relished trail rides and fence checking opportunities to scout the land. However, as soon as he realized we were heading back to the barn from the hayfield, no need to hold the reins: He was going to gun it to barn no matter what, so your best bet was to ride his Western wave all the way. An adrenaline rush, indeed. What better way to end the day than the wind beating your face at full horse speed?
