Anytime Cowgirl Candace shows up in Crush by Durango Boots, I naturally have to show out in the hair, beauty and fashion department, too. It’s just what we classy cowgirls do. When I paired my latest brown vintage-coated footwear — the Women’s Belted Collar Western Boots — with my Lilia Guilty Western fringe dress from Atlanta’s The Clothing Warehouse, the Nashville star came out of me.
Coupling these leather babies with this Valerie June-meets-Dolly Parton ensemble resulted in a legendary look that says sophisticated Southern belle all day. Just as form-fitting and comfy as my belted boots, the crimson costume cinches my waistline and accentuates my curves in a tasteful, timeless style.
During 2018, this showy outfit works well in the following Southern situations:
- Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, dubbed “The Greatest Show on Dirt” and the nation’s only touring black rodeo competition;
- Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show, known as the nation’s largest and best multicultural beauty show (and where you can catch Cowgirl Candace reporting live about the hottest hair); and
- Academy of Country Music Awards, the first country music awards program held by a major organization and 2018’s VIP admission to meet artist Darius Rucker in person.
