My Printed Past

Animal prints and I go back to elementary school. I became a competitive gymnast at age 5 and traveled Middle Georgia, competing with Macon’s top gym of the ’80s and ’90s: The Gym Nest. One of the most-anticipated parts to competition was winning then mama rewarding me with a new leotard. Of course, I had to select ones that had a little animal-printed pizzazz to them. And, yes, I will still sport a printed leotard today if the country Western occasion calls for it along Georgia’s coastal waters. I have to admit it: My cowgirl closet resembles an exotic zoo right now — from this pictured belt to my crop tops and debonair boots.
