Black Farmers Network
As part of a U.S. Department of Agriculture grant project, Black Farmers’ Network is a digital directory and online hub for rural, African-American farmers to share products, services and ideas. Cowgirl Candace serves as a research reporter and writer for the project. She travels the Black Belt Region collecting oral history and developing digital content that connects the rural South’s black farmers, co-ops and entrepreneurs with today’s digital economy.
